Terms of Use
By using DoesItHold on the app or web, you agree to these Terms of Use. The service provides debugging challenges, hints, and educational feedback generated or enriched by AI (Google Gemini). These terms summarize how you may use the platform, which data is processed, and which limits apply to the service.
1. Account and Usage Modes
• Guest/web mode allows basic use. If you clear cache, cookies, or local storage, you may lose progress stored only in that browser.
• Member mode requires an account for cloud sync, history, and rankings.
• You are responsible for maintaining control over your devices, credentials, and access.
2. License and Restrictions
We grant a limited, personal, revocable license for educational use of the platform. You may not abuse AI flows, extract challenges at scale, automate usage to manipulate rankings, bypass technical limits, or use the service unlawfully.
3. User Conduct
Do not use the app for illegal activities, reverse engineering, exploiting vulnerabilities, service abuse, or violating third-party rights.
4. User Content
You retain rights to the code and content you submit. By using the platform, you authorize us to process that material to operate the service, including related challenge generation, feedback, metrics, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
5. AI-Generated Content
Challenges, hints, explanations, and feedback may be generated or enriched by AI. This material is educational and may contain inaccuracies. Review and validate any suggestion before using it in real code, production environments, or important decisions.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium features may require a subscription or purchase. Payments, renewals, and billing may be processed by the App Store, Google Play, Stripe, RevenueCat, and related providers depending on the platform you use.
Prices are displayed clearly before purchase confirmation, including applicable taxes. You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings or the corresponding app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Right of withdrawal: under Art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC), you may cancel your subscription within 7 (seven) days of the purchase date for a full refund.
7. Availability and Changes
We may change features, prices, limits, technical providers, or discontinue parts of the service. When possible, we will communicate material changes with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoesItHold is not responsible for indirect damages, data loss, temporary unavailability, lost profits, or decisions made solely on the basis of platform-generated content. This limitation does not apply to rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Lei 8.078/1990).

11. Right of Withdrawal
Under Art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Lei 8.078/1990), contracts entered into outside a commercial establishment, including digital services, may be canceled within 7 (seven) days from the date of contracting or service activation, without the need for justification and with the right to a full refund of amounts paid.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Bárbara d'Oeste, São Paulo, Brazil, with waiver of any other venue, however more privileged it may be.
